CBC Ties Record Enrollment

Central Baptist College’s enrollment reached the 858 mark for fall 2014 according to a report released by the Office of the Registrar on Friday. The 858 mark ties the institutions record from the fall 2011 and is an increase of 3.61% from the fall 2013 enrollment of 832. Final enrollment figures include 461 traditional students which is a 4.54% increase from fall 2013 enrollment, and a 40.5% increase in the Online Program, compared to fall 2013.

“I am extremely proud of all of our registration departments for their hard work and dedication to meet the institution’s all time enrollment record,” said CBC President Terry Kimbrow, “and we are already looking to fall 2015! Central Baptist College is dedicated to the integration of Christian faith and academic excellence, and we are excited to share that message with prospective students.”

On campus student housing saw an increase of a little over 20% with 172 students living on the CBC campus. Dickson Hall, the first new housing project on the CBC campus in 49 years, opened its doors in August 2014. The 150 bed three story residence hall is occupied to near capacity.
