Annie Moses Band continues Harding University’s Lyceum series

The Annie Moses Band, a Nashville, Tennessee, ensemble, will perform Sept. 16 as a part of Harding University’s concert Lyceum series. The event will be held in the Administration Auditorium at 7 p.m.

The Annie Moses Band includes Julliard-trained musicians including six instrumentalists and vocalists and will perform covers of classical folk, spiritual and pop genres. The group fuses American roots, folk rock and jazz in performances that feature strings, keyboards, guitar and rhythm.

Their performance, titled “Rhapsody in Bluegrass: The Art of American Music,” is a panoramic exploration of America and its music. Featuring favorites from Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, and other quintessential American legends, Rhapsody in Bluegrass fuses Appalachian bluegrass, Irish fiddle, beloved classical themes and roots music to create a beautiful and transporting concert experience.

General admission tickets for this event are $3 and will be available at the door. The department of music, located in the Reynolds Center for Music and Communications, will distribute tickets. For more information, contact the department at 501-279-4343.
