Gustavo Romero to kick off Harding University Lyceum series

Gustavo Romero, a Mexican-American pianist, will perform Sept. 4 in Harding University’s Administration Auditorium at 7 p.m. as part of the University’s 2014-15 concert Lyceum series.

Romero first discovered his love and gift for music at age 5, started taking lessons and gave his first public performance at age 10. Romero moved to New York where he attended and graduated from The Julliard School. In addition to performing, Romero is also a professor of piano at the University of North Texas. He performs music selections including complete piano sonata cycles of Beethoven and Mozart.

General admission tickets for this event are $3 and will be available at door. The department of music office, located in the Reynolds Center for Music and Communication, will distribute tickets. For more information, contact the department of music at 501-279-4343.
