Chris Brubeck and Triple Play to conclude Harding University Lyceum series

Tuesday, April 16, Chris Brubeck and Triple Play will conclude Harding University’s Lyceum Series with a performance in Administration Auditorium at 7 p.m. The blues- and folk-inspired group will be playing songs from their newest album, “Live at Arthur Zankel Music Center.”

The group features guitarist Joel Brown and multi-instrumentalist Peter Madcat Ruth along with Brubeck, who plays trombone, bass and piano. The trio has performed in concert halls and festivals all across the country. The collaborations of these artists date back to 1969.

These versatile musicians produce a huge repertoire on every stage they perform. Their style brings together all different elements of blues, rock, folk and occasionally jazz.
