CBC Jumps in Latest U.S. News and World Report Rankings

Central Baptist College has been ranked as a “Best Regional College” in the South, according to the 2017 U.S. Best College rankings by U.S. News & World Report. CBC ranks 40th in the category of “Best Regional Colleges” among regional universities in the South moving up from the 71st position in the 2016 rankings.

“I am so proud that CBC has once again been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a best regional college in the south. This achievement is due to efforts and accomplishments of our faculty, staff, and students who are committed to transforming lives through education that integrates Christian faith and academic excellence,” said CBC President Terry Kimbrow.

According to the US. News and World Report, ranked colleges focus on the graduate experience and offer a broad range of programs in the liberal arts in fields such as business, nursing and education. The rankings are based on peer assessment, retention and graduation rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving.
