Harding professor named board member of Arkansas Association of Teacher Educators

Susan Grogan, assistant professor and director of adult/extended education at Harding University, was named a board member of the Arkansas Association of Teacher Educators.

In her role on the board, Grogan will help plan and promote the activities of the association including the organization’s annual conference.

“I believe that ‘to whom much is given, much is required,’ and that means that you expand your horizons to serve others beyond your immediate colleagues and students,” Grogan said. “Teachers change lives through the grace of God. Training them well is very important. “

The ArATE is an organization for teacher educators in Arkansas that works closely with the National Association of Teacher Education. They work to improve education of teachers around the state and to make sure universities are informed of the best methods and resources.
