John Brown University will sign a memorandum of understanding with Handong Global University of South Korea on Friday, Feb. 26 on JBU’s campus. The partnership will open study abroad opportunities, research collaboration, and faculty and staff exchanges.

Why: JBU and HGU wish to establish more global opportunities for students and employees and build a mutually-beneficial collaboration in research and publication, participation in seminars and academic meetings, exchange of academic materials and short-term academic programs.
Handong Global University, located in Pohang, South Korea, is a leading Christian university committed to following Jesus Christ and training global leaders to change the world. Founded in 1995, HGU enrolls 3,972 undergraduate students from 35 countries.
