JBU and South Korea’s Handong Global University Sign MOU

John Brown University will sign a memorandum of understanding with Handong Global University of South Korea on Friday, Feb. 26 on JBU’s campus. The partnership will open study abroad opportunities, research collaboration, and faculty and staff exchanges.

What: Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony
When: Friday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m.
Where: Simmons Great Hall, JBU Siloam Springs Campus
Why: JBU and HGU wish to establish more global opportunities for students and employees and build a mutually-beneficial collaboration in research and publication, participation in seminars and academic meetings, exchange of academic materials and short-term academic programs.

Handong Global University, located in Pohang, South Korea, is a leading Christian university committed to following Jesus Christ and training global leaders to change the world. Founded in 1995, HGU enrolls 3,972 undergraduate students from 35 countries. HGU is a member of the United Nations Academic Impact and an international affiliate of the Coalition of Christian Colleges and Universities.
