WBC’s 5 to 1 Conference Slated for January 23-24

Williams Baptist College will host its annual 5 to 1 Student Ministry Conference on Friday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 24. The weekend will focus on helping parents lead the home to worship, connect with others, grow in the Bible and spread the Gospel.

Education staff from Little Rock’s Immanuel Baptist Church will lead this year’s conference and will focus on their church’s approach to family discipleship, entitled Home 22:6. Age-specific break-out sessions will also take place in the areas of children/preschool ministry, student ministry, median adult ministry, young adult/college ministry and how to create a Home 22:6 Resource Center.

WBC’s 5 to 1 Student Ministry Conference seeks to equip churches and families with information and skills so teens can be surrounded with many caring adults who will help them develop lifelong faith.

The conference will take place in WBC’s Maddox Center. The cost of attendance is $10, and all are welcome. For more information or to pre-register, contact Dr. Walter Norvell at wnorvell@wbcoll.edu, or by phone at 870-759-4150.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge.
