Arkansas Colleges of Health Education

Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) is a private, non-profit institution located on 542 acres in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  ACHE’s first college, the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (ARCOM) welcomed its inaugural class of 150 osteopathic medical students in August 2017.  Construction on the new main campus has included the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine and the College of Health Sciences buildings which are home to the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Master of Science in Biomedicine. Additional facilities provide student housing, retail, restaurants and a 13-acre park to create a community supporting healthy living and academic studies. 

With the acquisition of a separate 318,000 square foot facility located on a 62-acre site, the ACHE Research Institute Health and Wellness Center is devoted to a variety of healthy living activities and an extensive medical research agenda to complement academic programs.  An on-line Master of Public Health degree with emphasis areas in nutrition and rural and community health is also available. 

ACHE is the first private institution in Arkansas that is dedicated solely to healthcare and wellness.The simple mission of the institution is: To educate and train a diverse group of highly competent and compassionate healthcare professionals; to create health and research support facilities; and to provide healthy living environments to improve the lives of others.
